When I see something like this in the news, it makes me realize just how small my personal problems really are. This is what we should all be worried about!

Yea, I've been worried about it for awhile now, but there's nothing really that we can do. The politicians do whatever they want and don't really listen to the people, who knows if they ever did.

They don't. when I worked in the Illinois General Assembly it was amazing just how little they listened to the will of the people. Of course Illinois politics is a shining example of good government(cough, cough lol) but it is the same everywhere. They don't give a **** about anyone except those who can give them something.

Our kids and grandkids future went out the door, right behind the American Dream.

In my oppinion there is no hope for America under the way the government has been run in the last 50+ years. It's not the parties, they both are bad. It is the politicians. People that want boatloads of money for spending other peoples money and sticking their noses in where it doesn't belong. Government running businesses.

It's a sad time for our country. Just a hundered years ago if I felt like this, I would load up my family and some friends, and hit the trails to the frontier and start a new life, the way we want it. Unfortunately there is no viable frontier anymore.
