How To Open a NRG File?
 

Hey guys my family sent me a video online and i am trying to watch it but its .nrg, but i just dont know what program it is that i have to use? Or do i have to download a certain program?
Any help is very appreciated.

Not sure, but you could try using Alcohol or Daemon Tools to mount it, but I never used nrg file so I don't know if it will work.

Download NERO Burning ROM.

Let me know if you have problems getting a copy of Nero. http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emwink.gif But I think Nero would want to to burn in on DVD or something. If that's the case and you can't/ don't want to to then you can use Daemon Tools to set up a new drive for you.
I have Nero 7 and it takes up a lot of ram in your PC. I have Nero 8 but never bothered to update it because of even more ram usage.

if you dont want to burn it to CD, then get a program called PowerISO, its alot better than daemontools and it handles practically all disk image files
it not freeware tho..

I have Power ISO. LOVE IT! Didn't know I could do that with it. I always had problems burning Wii games with Nero. PowerISO has a 90% success rate even burning at higher speeds. http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emthup.gif

thats awesome guys thx, this movie thing os mostly for my mom and shes beggin me everyday to open it and i tell her i cant but ill try your suggestions.
Q: when you guys say burn it to a DVD, is that the only option? because i dont have a DVD burner, i got a CD burner but not DVD.

Nero was good: 5 years ago. Its junkware now.
VSO's stuff is alot better too.
