Default Rim sizes...
So I am getting some new rims for my car...I have an E39 540 and I found a set of 19" rims, 8.0 in front, 9.5 in rear. My dad has nearly the exact same car, except his rims are 18". He didn't need to do any fender rolling or anything like that with the 18"s and they fit fine, they are also the same width as mine...I want to say he has 35 series in the front and 30 series in the rear. Now, if I was to go with these 19" rims, would the fitting be alright? Would I have to roll the fenders at all? And judging on performance, 18" rims tend to usually be the best way to go, I believe the e60 M5 has 19" rims, but I can't really compare an e60 M5 to an e39 540, and the e39 M5 had 18" rims also...So I am wondering if it will be ok to go with the 19" rims or if it would just be best to go with 18" rims instead...I really like the style of these 19" rims and don't know if they are available in 18" rims from the place I am getting them from, and I know they would look really good, but I don't want to have to end up spending more money in the long run to get my fenders rolled and have to install the M5 wheel well liners for them to fit properly.

Scratch that last post...I talked to the guy and everything should be alright...the tires are going to cost me a fortune though...here's the deal...I want a great tires that performs well but also has decent tread wear...I was looking at the Potenza S-03 Pole Positions...I would get 275/30/R19's in the rear and 245/30/R19's in the front...these are awesoem tires...biggest issue is from what I have gathered they go out very quickly, and at nearly 300 bucks per tire they aren't cheap...I like the tires and still may go with them, but if someone could recommend anything different it would be appreciated...thanks...
