Default Locked out of gmail
So it started with an authentication error on my nexus one. I then try to log into gmail and they want my cell phone number to send me an SMS or automated call to confirm it's me. Why is the other email address I provided incase I forgot my password not good enough? And how does providing my cell number confirm I am who I say I am anyway?

What if I'm the dude that hacked the account?

Twats.

The same thing happened to me with an alt Gmail account. I guess the hacker sent enough spam and got my account deactivated.

I've had that happen a couple times. For me, it disappeared once I stopped trying to logon for a full 24 hours.
