well he broke in and committed a crime, you should go to jail.

its not the value he stole that got him put in jail it was the crime of breaking in to a restaurant.

uk law has a maximum of 2 years in place for burglary so whats the big deal

He broke in with the intent to steal. If there was more there he most likely would have taken it. At the end of the day, the law was broken and he is paying for it, I say well done Singapore!

Why would his luck to the amount in the place have anything to do with his sentence?
