BRATZ DOLLS ARE WHORES!!!
I found THIS yesterday and i was shocked with disbelief! Santa leaves a 9 year old a Bratz doll under the tree in a THONG For one thing... What the heck are you going to buy your daughter something that looks like it came out of a Las Vegas strip joint or some trashy L.A. Club ANYWAY??? Then *GASP* the mother is SHOCKED to learn that under the mini-skirt (that is so hiked up the dolls !!! anyway) the doll is wearing a THONG! Baby doll has shocking surprise under skirtSURPRISE! The DOLL that you bought for your CHILD really IS a whore! It didn't just LOOK like one! (things in RED will be my captions) (12/29/05 - PHILADELPHIA, PA) - Tiana Ennis was excited about Sasha, the bottle holding Baby Bratz doll she got Christmas morning, along with three other teenage Bratz. They're known for their bold fashion statements.(Whore-ish fashion statement they mean) But the 8-year-old was unnerved by the skinny underwear she discovered under the Baby Bratz's skirt. (OH NOES...a !%!%!%!%ty looking doll wearing !%!%!%!%y looking underwear!) It was a thong. (*SHREIK*) Tiana's discomfort is clear as she recounts showing her big sister and mom. "I didn't feel too right about it," she said. "I said, 'Umm... She looks too grown wearing that.'" (Too grown...the doll is in a hiked up miniskirt and has more make-up on then the broad at first & Main and now she looks to grown) Tiana's mother Evonne Ennis said, "I just wanted to know why would they put something like this on a baby. If I knew the doll had this on I wouldn't have bought it." (no comment) The Bratz dolls are clearly not conservative. Still, Evonne expected Baby Bratz were different based on a booklet attached to the package. "She has on (what looks) like underwear and a little shirt," Evonne said. And she contends the package didn't show the back of the doll's skirt. "Look how short it is," Evonne noted. "That's what gets me." Evonne worries the thong and short skirt send a bad message to young children who are already exposed to much that's beyond their years. (NO! You don't say...) "I would like to see more clothes on the dolls. Maybe a little sleeper or a Pamper," she suggested.(Pampers wouldn't go well with all that make-up) Evonne tells Action News that late Wednesday afternoon doll maker MGA Entertainment apologized for what they call a mistake and promised to send the Pampers that should have been on Tiana's Baby Bratz doll in the first place. (Copyright 2005 by Action News. All Rights Reserved.) Parents, check out what you buy for your kids...we don't need them having sex at 9 It wasn't just this mother but TONS of them are pissed about the dolls thongs. The look of these dolls alone is nasty. Look at the make-up on them? Disgusting. A hooker in downtown L.A. has less make-up on! One of the Baby Bratz dolls..look at this ugly thing... The older Bratz are worse...this one looks like crack smokin barbie Little girls look up to these dolls and want to be just like them! I wanted to be like Barbie when i was older, Malibu barbie to be exact, but come on...Malibu barbie is much better to look up to then a coke whore! I am so GLAD i have boys! Anyway's this isn't to bash anyone that buys those dolls for their kids but don't buy a doll dressed like a whore and wonder why it's in a thong |

yeah these dolls are everywhere here too.
they are disguesting, i mean they are intended for children, and children shouldnt be taugh that the only way they can be chatted up by boys is to be wearing tons of make up and skirks up to their arse. hell, they shouldnt even be thinkin about boys anyway at that age! i saw one ad for (i think) a brats doll where they were having a secret blind date with some boys, and you had to see which boy u got. christ, its sick that kids of 5+ are being told his is how they should be. thing is tho, the parents are quick to blame the toy company, end of the day if they didnt by the doll in the first place, there would be no toy company to be dealing with. its not like u cant tell what the doll is like by looking at the box. glad someone brought this up. these things get on my nerves too MJ |

So, basically the problem is to do with sexualising children's toys (i.e. Bratz), rather than romanticising them (i.e. Barbie)?
While this may be a problem indeed, I can't help feeling that the root of the problem goes way back before Bratz came along. Kids have sexual imagery pumped at them all the time. |

nothin at all is wrong with thongs. unless you're a child playing with your mini skirted, thong wearing, boob tube loving dolly.
"Kids have sexual imagery pumped at them all the time" if it was up to me that would be gone too. am extremely conservative when it comes to selling sex to sell a product or even sex on tv shows/films. MJ |
