This is like buying a packet of smarties to us. And call it stupid all you want, if I had the money I know I'd do it.

Just get a contract and wait for that to end to get yours unlocked....or jailbreak it when that is released.

Apple sell them unlocked! I got the exact same phone direct from them for £499. I only had to wait about two and half weeks for it to arrive, but then I guess some people are impatient.
