I have to find 3 different mergers/acquisitions of companies from 2009 to present and only came up with a few. I also have to compare/contrast but that's not a problem if I can find the companies who did this...

For the horizontal table I have:

Verizon / Alltel
Walmart /Distribucion y Servicie
U.S. Department of Treasury / PNC Financial Services ( im not totally sure if this is horizontal or not though)

Still have to find 3 vertical and 3 Conglomerate mergers.

I know you have your horizontal ones already but a very current one is Kraft acquiring Cadbury - deal went through today. Also Pfizer buying Wyeth comes to mind.
