I saw that video! Awesome! I met him last summer, real cool guy, one of the Rally America events is my town, they have a meet and great before and after most of the stages. I know the back roads pretty well, so we got to see the cars go by at like six different points the one day.

The rally stuff I get. All the flaming upside down motorcycles diving through exploding hoops and other things daredevils (not necessarily talking Travis, here) do is a little harder to get, sometimes though. All the broken bones, reconstructions etc.

It takes a special type of person to crave such risks. And good luck to all of them!

I set my DVR to record it on ESPN America, only for it to record up to the warm up run, literally just before he jumped. So I had to watch on Youtube [thumbdown]

Travis Pastrana is a legend IMO. I've been a huge fan of him since around he started FMX, he is just a level headed damn cool guy. I was actually nervous for him, but he has such a confidence he can do anything he wants.

Also, Red Bull are awsome

He drove a balanced car at a certain speed off of one ramp and then it landed on another ramp. As long as the mexicans were told what speed they needed to obtain, I doubt any of them were lost LOL.

I doubt he wasted the time on that, jumping a 1993 Chevy Caprice with 20" chrome wheels would not be a good example of how the jump would go in his rally spec Subaru.

I'd rather see that than the actual jump
