I guess he could have canceled your bid and awarded it to the next highest bidder...

Eric I do not know how to do it and it might get a long time for clearance of payment! That is why I prefer paypal and that is why I think that sellers should definately have a paypal account! Buyers pay for the payal fee btw, so there is no problem for the seller.

Charles I was the only bidder. The Paph looked in very good condition and I was surprised noone else did. lol

Default Great frustration!!!!!
Hello all,

I have never been in this situation before, but they say there is always a first time for everything!

I bidded on a Phrag on ebay from a seller from Austria with the id temple_of_the_seekers. Has anyone ever purchased something from him/her? You see there was no payment option through paypal but I figured it out when it was time to pay! It is my mistake for sure, but the seller wants payment through bank transfer. I would not have a problem unless there wasn't a charge of 17 euro of whatever amount I send to the seller... and postage fee for the plant is 10euro (or 15). The amount (eventually) is too big for me to pay...

I send a mail to the seller asking if they have any friend with paypal or if the auction can be canceled! Oh, I am in great anxiety at the moment!!!!!!!

Any suggestions?? Does any1 live in Austria???
TYIA

I would ask them if they could take a payment through paypal and you'll send them an extra fee for the paypal fees. other than what you've already asked I don't know what else you can do. bank transfer of course can be expensive
