Frankie Boyle is a great comedian but man he goes near the bone.

haha the second one is great.

ptmQqoxw 11-27-2009 03:47 AM

Um, that wasn't really offensive at all. However #2 was the funniest

JonnLeejsp 11-27-2009 04:00 AM

No. 2 was the only one that was actually funny. I didn't get no. 1.

Vomephems 11-27-2009 04:03 AM

Nah, I think he's good. He made that show, and now the BBC got rid of him, it's not the same.

Number 1 was just after R Hammond had his jet car crash and maybe wasn't entirely with it.

fluistulkn 11-27-2009 04:05 AM

hes not funny[thumbdown]

fubyFrery 11-27-2009 04:12 AM

jeez go easy with the accent

edit: i guess you must be from england to understand why the jokes are funny (except for the 1st)

Xzmwskxn 11-27-2009 04:13 AM

I find the guy to be hilarious personally... but you can only really take him in small doses, mainly because his Mock the Week, Stand-up shows and everything else he is on tend to come from the same bank of jokes... if you see him in multiple different situations you tend to hear the same material.

myhackingtosh_ws 11-27-2009 04:34 AM

2nd one was hilarious, the rest... [yawn]

He is. You're completely wrong.

cafeviahe 11-27-2009 04:58 AM

I didn't find it offended at all, who does lol? However, he wasn't funny either..

LorencoLoricelli 11-27-2009 05:05 AM

Number 1 I didn't like, for the rest the guy's real funnyhttp://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/laugh1.gif

Vomephems 11-27-2009 05:09 AM

He's probably someone who's going to appeal to Brit's more because his jokes are often based around topic British affairs because of the show he's on. His stand up act's are good though too.

movlabs 11-27-2009 09:31 AM

I saw him life at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2 years ago, was in hysterics the whole time! In all fairness this isn't a very good clip of him IMO. Plus any people from outside of the UK are likely to not find it too funny or not get it as he makes a lot of very British/Scottish related comments.

statistica 11-27-2009 06:59 PM

I think he is well funny [rofl] The Richard Hammond joke was really below the belt though...still funny [rofl]

UMATURLIN 11-27-2009 07:47 PM

I saw him live last year.
If you've seen him on TV and think his humour is dark - you've not seen anything.
Live he goes even darker, even further.
Some of his stuff is extremely close tot he knuckle.

However well worth seeing live.

No not guilty, Frankie Boyle is a hero!

Anyone see the Jimmy Carr joke recently?

"Say what you like about those servicemen amputees from Iraq and Afghanistan, but we're going to have a ****ing good Paralympic team in 2012."

Didn't go down to well with a lot of people but if you don't offend anyone then that's half of comedy out of the window right there.
