I'm not familiar with the suat sights, but most night sights I am familiar with would be very difficult to break open, and unless you get your mouth on it, inhale it all, and hold your breath, I think it would be very difficult to get any serious exposure. I don't think the gun sites even have enough tritium to be dangerous to begin with. Tritium isn't very radioactive.

There are three types of radiation, Alpha, Beta and Gamma and generally, Gamma is the one to worry about! Gamma isn't as big a threat as one might think due to the low level of absorption of gamma photons by tissue (hence why its quality factor is much lower than, say, alpha) - so to ascertain the true level of threat one must look at how the radiation will be absorbed, where it will be absorbed and how much energy is transferred. Anyway, in addition to the 3 you've mentioned, there's also neutron, proton, muon, and positron forms of radiation that we all experience on a daily basis. Best not to worry about it all too much!

Pretty good source of Gamma in the sky, BTW. Most of that, though, interacts with the atmosphere and very little of it reaches the surface.
