ok mate you unscrew the lens on a susat sight and take a good lug and then see how far you get
I'm not familiar with the suat sights, but most night sights I am familiar with would be very difficult to break open, and unless you get your mouth on it, inhale it all, and hold your breath, I think it would be very difficult to get any serious exposure. I don't think the gun sites even have enough tritium to be dangerous to begin with. Tritium isn't very radioactive.

You mean 'radio-active'?
Many things are, most common item is a smoke detector which, IIRC, uses Californium.
There are three types of radiation, Alpha, Beta and Gamma and generally, Gamma is the one to worry about!
Pretty good source of Gamma in the sky, BTW.

What's in our sky that's a good source of Gamma?

Americium 241 is the one you're after .

There are three types of radiation, Alpha, Beta and Gamma and generally, Gamma is the one to worry about! Gamma isn't as big a threat as one might think due to the low level of absorption of gamma photons by tissue (hence why its quality factor is much lower than, say, alpha) - so to ascertain the true level of threat one must look at how the radiation will be absorbed, where it will be absorbed and how much energy is transferred. Anyway, in addition to the 3 you've mentioned, there's also neutron, proton, muon, and positron forms of radiation that we all experience on a daily basis. Best not to worry about it all too much!

Pretty good source of Gamma in the sky, BTW. Most of that, though, interacts with the atmosphere and very little of it reaches the surface.

I know what it means
It was not directed at one person... and the intention was to bring Superman Gamma Radiation into the conversation, not to patronize a certain (un-targeted) individual.

So, in other words, "you could have fooled me".

using the term f**** is not targeting a person or persons?

I see!

No, it was used as a term of endearment... (maybe not). However, I was certainly not using the term to detract from the lack of point that I was making (which tends to be the use of ad hominem arguments). It was more as a introduction to the proverbial "faggot" that would be surprised to find people that do not know a relatively obscure fact that was brought to public knowledge via a comic book character.

The sun's not in the sky, it's in space.
