A bit moody are we? [rofl]
Well, if you hadn't come off a such a tool bag I wouldn't have cared.

Honestly, why does anyone truly care?

If you understand what they are saying, which you clearly do, get over it!
I guess you can blame the government schools for your pet peeve?
Well, I can't understand somethings that 'people' say, and that is what struck this in the first place.

Don't go too far into the back country there mgboy. You might be liable to shot yourself. LOL, I was mostly referencing to down at UTC! That's the sad part.

I think what is worse, is people take a meaning of word, and use it in the exact opposite the way that it should. Take minute for example.
For some reason, a minute now means forever.

Like "I haven't seen you in a minute" now means "I haven't seen you in a long time."
Now that is annoying. I like to get onto people about that when they talk to me like that. You know who say that all the time? Think of a certain group of people.

Also only one "etc" is required.
Really? I always see one or two used and thought it was normal. Thanks for the heads up, will only use one from now on

I was thinking it may have been one of those "Americanisms" where tricky and freaky were crafted into one word.
For someone who had started a thread on the use of words, I find it moderately amusing to see so many mis-spellings and mis-use of grammar in his posts.

Dear God!

This had nothing to do with grammar or spelling in the first place! When I'm not typing a formal paper, I type how I speak; much how other people type.

Spelling and grammer doesnt really bother me, as long as the point gets across.

What does wind me up is people saying "basically" during every sentance. I know its basic. Your a retard, you cant understand anything that isnt basic.

and "at the end of the day" or any other of the "sayings" that make up 50% of normal conversation

Who says "axe" when the mean "ask"?

Can I add to the list people who find it necessary to swear every other word? It's so annoying when someone on the bus or train is having a conversation and every other word is the f word; it's like being slapped in the face all the time.

This is so totally going to sound racist... but... black people

It's a form of stress relief. Since I can't physically injure and/or kill people I swear instead.

I'm not talking about when people are angry - I swear when I'm angry - I'm talking about people who keep swearing in their normal conversations.
