Why do people think this is abusive to the kid? I don't get todays people, I watched the news a couple months ago and people look down at you for hugging or kissing your own kids, they look at you like perverts and child abusers.

Absolutely perfect reply.
Thank you. I was really wondering... and then I realized that he's from the UK.

Since being a self-sufficient human being is basically being outlawed in the UK, it's no surprise that the next frontier is gross interference with how parents are allowed to bring up their kids. I mean, I've already had people tell me that people get in trouble for photographing their toddlers naked...

They already severely punish school kids for pointing their index finger and going "pow pow" during lunch hour, so why not go further.

The Brits that visit this message board would do well to consult the creative work of another Brit (Aldous Huxley) or their grandchildren will be raised by the state.

I've heard about the kid pointing a finger at a teacher and going "pow pow" and the kid was punished for it somehow. Do you have a link to the article perhaps? I'm curious because one of our friends told us this story but said that our "other" friend ( who's a female teacher ) punished the kid for pointing at her and going "pow pow".

About the video: Not sure I would do this to my own kid (lol, although.. you never know) but I see nothing wrong with this.
