I think the Kers was not liking the wet stuff at Singapore,....which is why the teams that didnt use it last week,....didn't.

The desert should bring everyone back that had it in Aussieland.

That said.....we should get a really good race this round.

KERS should be well suited to the straights here. As long as they dont have overheating problems i expect to see a lot of drivers running it.

Same as last round then, he's just running light.

Force India has copied Brawns diffusor:

But tbh, the current diffusors, including the "super diffusors", are pathetic, they knew in the old days what to do a lot better!

Also, Ferrari is trying new approach to this all, using flying carpets instead of cars in the race:

Brabham (IIRC) fan car - the fan was for cooling and any other benefit was incidental. Still banned after one race.

I think the Chaperal (sp?) CanAm car was the first to use fans like that.

Remember the Tyrrell six wheeler?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1d7iR72UVh4&NR&fmt=18 ofcourse is was incidental lol.

formula one cars would be like they are on rails with stupidly powerful engines by now if all the innovations werent banned and the engines gimped.

todays engines arent even as powerful as the really ancient turbo engines some of which were tuned for 1500hp in qualifying (hence the big blowouts back in the day)

Webber out early, first bad qual from him for a long time. He was held up by Sutil, anyone confirm? I'm on live timing, no tv coverage.

Vettel looks to be the class of the field, quickest in qual 1 and 2, can he get pole twice in a row?

Webber was blocked. And pole is going to be between the Brawns and Red Bulls.... shock horror.

EDIT: I should say Red Bull.
