I'm sorry, but bikers that go 100mph and then complain when people don't see them when merging into the left lane need to get a reality check. I have a cousin who has totaled 3 cars and wrecked badly on a bike who insists it's everyone elses fault. No it's not. Stop fooling yourselves.

I think some bikers need to think may times as to whether it is worth overtaking. Afterall, they are much more likely to come out badly if anything goes wrong. I've been cruising along a 60mph road at 65 (Sorry!) yet a constant stream of bikers came screaming past. Must have been doing 100+. This was on the A447 near Mallory Park, Leicestershire, UK if you know it.
As a biker, i agree to the fully ..its these idiots that make us look bad [thumbdown]
look at how that idiot was errrr... , lol i don't even know howto explain it

even though the turning bike should have double checked before turning it was definitely the speeding bikers fault, there is no reason why he should be going that fast in such close proximity to other bikes.

Due to my height ive found the stock mirrors on alot of bikes useless.
The guy turning off didnt do anything wrong he looked, but probly due to the speed of the other knob head coming around the corner he didnt seem him, and when turning you dont expect some **** to be flying down the wrong side of the road.

Default You like to turn left here: is that allowed?
The guy stood at a perfect spot to film this.

That's gnar. But the guy did look behind him before turning, not sure why he didn't see the other guy.

Ouch, that's going to sting in the morning

EDIT: judging on the middle white line, it should be fine to turn left there.

The guy driving on the left was definitely going too fast for the conditions.

My biggest fear when speeding in the left lane (Hopefully not as relatively fast as this guy) is some ******* going half my speed cutting in front of me.

Entirely the speeding bikers fault. Even though the the turning biker looked, the other biker was going way too fast. WTF was that biker doing overtaking so damn fast??

I have gone to turn off a road in my car in the past, looked, saw nothing for hundreds of yards, yet just as I turned, a speeding biker doing 100mph appeared out of nowhere. Luckily I noticed at the last split second before turning.

Well the speeding biker was beeping his horn to warn the pack he's coming through. It didn't seem like he was doing any illegal speeds just cruising at normal road speed.
When the biker looked to see who's coming the speeding bike would have been in view. I'm so I'm not sure how he missed seeing that bike.
I can't really blame either one. The speeding bike should have been going a little bit slower and the biker that got cleaned up really should have seen the other bike coming and also should have heard the horn.

Unfortunate accident.

illegal speed has nothing to do with this scenario..when there are so many other bikers on the road you're not supposed to overtake them so fast.. the turning biker never expected anyone to overtake him so fast..
