Oh get over it. If the title logo for the movie can be plastered all over public television and posters that children of all ages can see I think you can handle me having it in my sig in a privately owned forum. And it's not like the movie is pro-nazi or anything ridiculous like that

. My avatar, too is straight from the film. Anyone who sees this and is offended can easily look up the name in the sig and immediately become unoffended.

well, unfortunately for Germans, the rest of the world does not ban nazi memorabilia or symbols and as such also have no problems portraying it in film.

I guess there is little hope that ban would ever be lifted in Germany, but is there even a smittance that would rush out to display it over there? I am sure there are pockets in Germany that might, just as there are some in the South that still fly the Rebel flag.... but much like here, i doubt there would be much support if any for the ideas behind it...

I'll say this about the Nazi's; mean, sick bastards that many of them were (though most were just typical people caught up in unfortunateness) they had style. The swastika is, away from its meaning a very cool looking symbol, and without a doubt the SS uniforms were the hippest looking (imo of course).
