That keyboard has actually been on the market for some time now.

You can get the Larger version (Full size keyboard)
Silver
Black
$1589

Or the Smaller version (three keys only)
Larger higher res keys
$136

Cool concept though.

I'd be pissed if I accidentally spill my drink on it

A really cool idea, a bit pricey though.

Once upon a time this was total cutting edge, but now I think that they should just take the Ipod touchscreen technology and make a flat (waterproof!) keyboard.

Dear god no. I'll kill myself before I use a touchscreen keyboard on my PC.

That would be significantly expensive. The iphone screen alone is about $160 for that tiny display. A full width KB would be astronomical.

I'll settle for 2nd best though. I had a chance to use apples new low profile kb (nearly flat, like a laptop KB) and fell in love instantly. So easy to type with it. My current kb is very old and definitely worn out. So I took the chance and paid $45 for the new kb. should be getting it soon.

You will really like it, I have been using it for over a year now and ended up buying another for my other computer.

Happy with my G15 V2, but hopefully the new release will have multiple color selection for back light feature and have a color lcd display.

Theguy's remarks about the Mcdonalds paycheck, made him look like a total moron. It doesn't matter where the money comes from. As they used it to buy his product,. Big [thumbdown] for SIMPLE folks.

His price is way too high though. for what he is offering. Also wonder what the force and wear on the keys are limited to, waterproof, shock, fading, etc.

Good Day

I don't think they'd be that great either. Mind you it would be pretty cool to have some specially designed controls for applications. Typing on the other hand would be terrible. I hate laptop keyboards with a passion. I use a DAS keyboard at work it has nothing on the keys but the feel is awesome. Wouldn't mind this OLED thing but it's really way too expensive. Maybe if it was a third of the price they'd actually sell some.

Don't see why it could not be done cheaper, and imagine custom displays/keys for certain games, moving displays etc........

Provided it was cheap enough and made by a reputable company that would'nt disappear in a month, I could see something like that becoming a "must have"

The only way they could make it work would be to put some kind of ridges between keys so that you could feel where you are on the keyboard. Even then, the lack of any kind of key action would still be horrible, and part of the reason I don't really like laptop keybaords, though I have kind of gotten used to them.

Just looked at them, and those DAS keyboards to look pretty awesome. Might have to scoop one up when I finally get a decent paying job.
