Default Can't remember how to setup my hi-fi...
Don't laugh but after returning to Scotand I can't seem to get my seperate's system working!

Gear is as follows:

Amplifier - Rotel RA-01
CD Player - NAD C521BEE
Speakers - Monitor Bronze B2's

I have Bi-wire cables (4 connections at one end and 2 at the opposite, red and black) and some grey cable with a white+red connector at one end at a single grey one at the other (which from recollection is to connect the Amp to the CD changer.

Any help is appreciated....

Interconnects shouldn't be too hard to plug in ?

On the bi-wire cable, doesn't the pairs that are on the end of the speaker side have low and high printed (labeled) on them? (Red is + whereas grey or white is -)

PS, nice components.

The grey cable I have, I put the white/red parts into the Line Out of the CD player, and then I'm not sure where to put the grey connector at the otherside, guessing it's for the amp somewhere but not sure where

I can't see any posituve or negatives on the bi-wiring, only red/black (on the cables themselves), I can see HF/LF on the speakers (High/Low Freq?).

Thanks!

That grey cable you talk about has a white/red connection on both ends yeah?
CD -> line out -> Amp -> CD / line input
(red is right - any other color is left)

AMP -> red = plus, any other color = minus
Your Bi-wire cables should be one cable for left and the other one for the right speaker. (that's how my MIT Terminator 2 Bi-wriring cable works)

On your speakers the two horizontal top connections are most likely when they are black/red HF and the two lower connections are LF.

I hope I have helped you enough. Else could you provide some pictures, specially about that grey cable you mention.
