Well, it's not clear from the article that the gayness is the main issue here. It might be the porn-star aspect. I suppose I'd be a bit weirded out eating a sub made by a dude I last saw having sex. If I somehow recognized a female porn star (unlikely, since--though nobody will believe me--I don't watch porn), I'd think twice about eating any sandwich she made. Even if I saw the sandwich made from start to finish and it never left my sight, I'd just have too vivid a mental image of my meal serving as a dildo.

With that said, it probably was about the gay, and yes, it is strange that this dude recognizes a gay porn actor and plays the moral outrage card.
