Default So why do you think Sam Club still let's you buy bulk rice in Mexico and Idaho?
Skyrocketing rice prices has Sam's Club limiting sales
Retail chain Sam's Club will limit the sale of large quantities of rice amid a dramatic increase in the global price of rice. The store will limit customers to four 20-lb. bags of jasmine, basmati and long-grain white rice, the company said in a statement...The restriction does not apply in Idaho and New Mexico.
So why is that? Because all we eat in New Mexico is tortillas and Idahoans just eat potatoes?

Rice > Noodles > Potatoes
and Potatoes>Corn

I think too that there are less people eating a lot of rice in these areas, hence no reason to limit it.

I also like rice the most, but I'm totally fine with potatoes, so I luckily dont have to care about rice prices.
