so whats everyone doing with their savings? rsp's? gic's? stock? mutual funds?
why did you choose this type and what are you saving for? im have a small chunk of money doing absolutely nothing for me and i want to invest it in something. i have received all sorts of different advice (even to cheat on my taxes) and figure why not see what everyone on futuremark is doing since you seem like a smart bunch. for the most part anyway |

Have a new 401k that's not going to be touched anytime soon and a healthy amount of stocks seperate from that. I'm going to see if I can buy a house without it. If not, I'm going to use it to buy a house.
Ever see Ducktales? Where Scrooge swins around in the gold coin pool? That sounds fun too. [xmasthumbup] |

Savings, CDs, 401Ks, stocks, mutual funds, I have multiples of them all.
Reason is for retirement, which I'm hoping is no more than 2 to 3 years away for me. ![]() So anything you don't have to spend immediately in order to survive is considered "extra" money? Never thought of it that way myself, but ok. Good thing I have a lot of "extra", else I'd never be able to retire! |
