Default whos got extra money and what are you doing with it?
so whats everyone doing with their savings? rsp's? gic's? stock? mutual funds?

why did you choose this type and what are you saving for?

im have a small chunk of money doing absolutely nothing for me and i want to invest it in something. i have received all sorts of different advice (even to cheat on my taxes) and figure why not see what everyone on futuremark is doing since you seem like a smart bunch.
for the most part anyway

Have a new 401k that's not going to be touched anytime soon and a healthy amount of stocks seperate from that. I'm going to see if I can buy a house without it. If not, I'm going to use it to buy a house.

Ever see Ducktales? Where Scrooge swins around in the gold coin pool? That sounds fun too. [xmasthumbup]

Savings, CDs, 401Ks, stocks, mutual funds, I have multiples of them all.

Reason is for retirement, which I'm hoping is no more than 2 to 3 years away for me.

So anything you don't have to spend immediately in order to survive is considered "extra" money? Never thought of it that way myself, but ok. Good thing I have a lot of "extra", else I'd never be able to retire!

I'm saving for a house which I hope to purchase towards the end of this summer.
