Beautiful kitty too bad it decided to attack police officers when they showed up with guns drawn.

Zoos are good for conservation. Even tigers can have short, dangerous lives in the wild, and they can have room in zoos to stretch their legs if they want, plus three squares a day and free medical care.

Poor Tiger, Stupid Humans.

And the Zoo Director is now saying that the wall was only 12.5 ft tall
She had to have jumped," he said. "How she was able to jump that high is amazing to me." Mollinedo said What the Hell? Has this so-called Zoo Director never even owned a housecat? This ******* should be fired without review!

Let's just ignore the taunting. The zoo has been there a long time, had been inspected recently and nothing had been said.

Is that a flock of vultures I see circling over the zoo? No surely not, just lawyers. As I understand things. the old 12.5 walls are still within Code, but new zoos build their walls to 16.5.

And I don't believe there was water in the moat, that it's a dry moat.

BTW: I've now hear that a pool of blood has been found in the tiger's cage. Does anyone know if it was human blood or tiger blood ?

You're assuming the tiger was taunted. These are wild, dangerous creatures. They kill people every year. They are not to be underestimated.

Bad assumption because the stories don't say the tiger was taunted. They indicate she might have been taunted.

Unfortunately for you, Winnie, I did read the articles. They did not say the tiger was taunted. They speculated that the tiger might have been taunted. Furthermore, even if the tiger was taunted, no one ever said that these were the individuals who were taunting it.

So how about you just STFU.

As for the taunting, even assuming the trio were taunting the tiger and even assuming their taunting so enraged the tiger, she jumped out of the cage, what followed is still heroic.

The tiger had one of the brothers down and was mauling him. Sousa and the other brother yelled at the 300+ pound tiger in an attempt to scare her away or distract her. That was when the tiger left the first brother and attacked Sousa, killing him, while the two brothers ran away.

Sousa could have run but he attempted to save the first brother, and he was killed in the attempt.

Not if he keeps pissing off one-legged ex-wifes. Beat him to death with her prosthetic.

I suggest a steel cage match: plaintiffs vs zoo. Plaintiffs get themselves and their lawyers, and the zoo can put in any animals they currently have. And their lawyers.
