Well that's weird. I didn't have time to exchange it yet, but the disc works fine in my laptop. Nothing in my desktop or my PS2, but the laptop reads it just fine.

I've had a few sealed retail DVD's that have not worked properly.

ive have more than a few that stick even though the disc looks perfect but never any than dont play at all, aways exchanged them with no problems

By "stick" do you mean a slight pause, because this is normal with dual-layer DVDs.

Has anyone here gotten a DVD that doesn't play? I received 24 Season 4 on DVD for Christmas, and disc 5 of the set won't play in my computer or on my PS2. Discs one through four worked fine, but every time I go to play disc 5, both my PC and my PS2 say that the disc has an unsupported format. [no]
So, do I take the set back to where it was bought, or do I contact Fox?

Most stores will do an exchange for the same title so you might want to try that route first.

Well, that sounds like good news for me. I'd happily exchange it for the same set. I'll try and see if my mom can find the receipt for it and maybe try to exchange it on Sunday. Thanks for the quick reply.
