I am near the end of the life on my second pair of shure E2C's which I love! However it seems the cabel is slowly falling apart and sound in one of the ear buds is begining to cut out. I had this same problem with my last pair.

So what I am considering.

sennheiser px100. I seem to think I heard really good things about these on here before. Amazing sound for your money. I am a bit of a value shopper.

or the bose around ear headphones. I have heard amazing things about these.

I guess my biggest concearn is, if I am going to be spending money I want to know I am not buying a poorly enginered product. I take care good care of my stuff and hate it when things fall apart after a year!

Also sound quality is important to me. I have a good mp3 player and I want a pair of ear phones that can reproduce the sound well.

does anyone have any comments good or bad on any of the above mentioned products? Tips or traps?
