So anyway i dont know who watches miami/ london ink but i was having a laugh at Ami when he had to do a portrait and mentioned he hadnt done one in 4 years.
Well its been 9 for me but guess what i ended up doing last night? I got about 30mins left on it but already taken shape.-

I think that if I were that guy, I would have asked to just keep the creases out of the head area. Also, the left one seems a bit dark imo. Looks extremely good though.

Fresh ink and a healed tattoo look alot different.

As been said when its freash its about 40% darker due to the blood content, but once it heals its allot lighter and softer. I said mate i got about half hour to go and 20 mins that alone is fore head as its far from finished.
