It's basically a sandwich, but with Bacon and Butter. I guess it was abbreviated to butty.

Never been a fan of butties though... I prefer sarnies.

I hate chewy bacon. The best is when it's well done, thick but tender, crisp and when it snaps liks potato crisps. Unfortunately, good bacon like that is hard/ near to impossible to find in my country, people here are addicted to ham but have never heard of proper bacon [cursing]

A butty is just another name for a sandwich. It's generally used by people from the north of England.

It's basically a sandwich, but with Bacon and Butter. I guess it was abbreviated to butty.

A butty can be any sandwich.

Nope, only 4 people. Assuming a full 40 hour week for each, that is more than 6 weeks straight of cooking and eating bacon....

See, so that's no big deal then. I'm sure you know 4 people where you work who've done nothing for a few years even.
