Driving to Cornwall tomorrow!
 

My wife and I will take the Stang for a long weekend in Cornwall... So we plan on leaving tomorrow morning and drive straight west from London as far as it goes.

Any nice locations you Onions could recommend? I haven't booked any place to stay yet, considering it's not really high season I'm basically planning on stopping over in some B&B and plan daily excursions from there.

So, any suggestions?

The Eden Project is quite nice if you are into that sort of thing.

You have also got Stone Henge, Glastonbury (the town, not the festival) and Cheddar Gorge. Although beware of the hippies in those places. http://discussworldissues.com/forums...s/biggrin1.gif

For a good beach and surf I recommend Polzeath.

For a "nice" place I'd say Padstow.
