Peyton Manning had a lot of witnesses to his soggy super win, with the estimated 93.2 million viewers representing the second most-watched Super Bowl broadcast ever. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/...n2437074.shtml

I thought SuperBowl was baseball...

I doubt many ppl outside the US would actually watch it.

I think that the football world cup, european championship, champions league and the olympics have more people watching than the superbowl...

I know 0 people that care about american football, and i don't think that anyone really watches it outside of the US...

Bearing in mind it's on during the middle of the night over here, I doubt many people this side of the pond watch it. I certainly don't know of anybody that does (that I know of).

Combined viewing figures of presumably all the games.

It's a meaningless figure though isn't it? You're comparing the total viewing figures of lots of games (which will be mostly the same people anyway) with the viewing figures of a single game.

Just saw this stat from the news last night that I thought was pretty interesting. The highest ratings EVER for a TV program in the US was in 1983. It had about 103 million viewers. It was the season finale of M*A*S*H. Yeah, I was surprised too. Next, is the 1996 Super Bowl with 90 some odd million viewers.
