![]() How amazing was this episode, the back-story of everyone! The Nicole and Jessica issue just took an interesting turn. The suggestive girl gets a name; Eden. Bennets intentions are still uncertain and who is this man that he seems to keep in the shadows. Quite a shocking revelation on the Sylar story! I can’t help but feel that this Linderman person has a bigger part to play. |

I think sylers pwoers is he can absurb othe rpeoples powers, liek peter, but then can keep them , notice the enpisis on the brain at the start, so i mguessing the brains of who syler eats he then has ther epwoers. |

Yeah, this was my personal favorite episode.
It was great to see a little bit of backstory, and how people found out about their powers.
As with Natahan Petrlli. He knew he could fly long before his brother said anything! Niki's backstory was interesting too. To know Jessica was her dead baby sister. While I still think her power is the "worst", it is nice to see where it stems from and what exactly it is.
|

It was kinda sad how Hiro couldn't save that girl however much he tried... Which means he went up against Sylar at least once. Anyway, Sylar literally eats the brains? I suppose that would explain the way people are found after he "deals" with them, and why he's going after them all (to "absorb" their powers). He mentioned to the telekinetic guy (right before he got bashed) that he was "broken," like how Sylar can analyze watches. Is that of significance, as if he could actually read the guy's brain, or was it just a cheesy phrase? But which characters interacted in the past? I didn't see any of them together -- it was all individual. |

Eh? Went up against Sylar at least once? I don't get how you came to that conclusion... he couldn't save her in the present from Sylar, but in the past, he lost control of his power and randomly teleported back to Japan. By the time he could return again, it was too late (this doesn't explain how he got back from Japan... Hiro said he took the bus...). But which characters interacted in the past? I didn't see any of them together -- it was all individual. |

I think Sylars power is the ability to understand how things work and ultimately fix them if broken (like he did with Chandras watch when he came in). Its this understanding of how 'things' work that allows him to see the powers of others (that and the fact he saw 'the' list). Because he understands how these powers work and are connected to a persons mind, he can somehow 'absorb' them or apply them to himself. Thats my take on it. |

What I think is cool is that you cannot tell exactly who is good and who is bad. You have a small handful of characters that you are pretty certain about. Then you have some characters that are having a hard time struggling with developing their powers and finding their place in the world.
I like that the show is very slow. That the stories are more about why or who rather than simply finding the bad guy and stopping them like a typical comic book movie. So, I think they are utilizing the medium to it's finest. I don't like this new "fall and spring" season idea that shows are doing. Look at 24. Straight through. Olympics are on? 24 is on. President is on? 24 is on. Jesus comes back to earth and the book of revelation is coming true? 24 is on. God I love that show too. |
