Series II Supercharged engine

Engine is the 3.8L V6 that is found mostly in the Buick/Pontiac line of cars.

Well, I have been looking everywhere and I cant seem to find how much psi this supercharger is pushing through the engine.

Does anyone know the boost that it is giving stock, how much the engine can handle stock and maybe even how much psi the stock supercharger can push?

Power ratings go from stock 205/220 to 240/280 after the supercharger so I dont really think that it is all that much.

At those power increases, I'd say maybe 5-6 psi.

I have that engine (non-supercharged) and the stock ratings are 200/225.

With the traditional line of thought most start their modification process with upgrading their Exhaust system, however with a Supercharged V6 this is not such a good idea. With only 6psi worth of boost from the factory, upgrading the exhaust will result in a loss of manifold boost pressure which results in a loss in bottom end torque and throttle responsiveness down low for only mild gains up top of around 7kW. thats what i found.

note, thats from the supercharged v6 that holden released, i know its based on the same engine your talking about but i dont know how modified it is for this country etc etc.

edit: looking around more, thats only for the "ecotec" engines, an update of the buick's (apparently, i am not a holden supporter)
