Father again!

1320g boy.

1.5 months early and very small compared to weeks.

But everything is okay. Lungs are okay and blood tests were good.

Twins are often in the 3-5 pound range, as long as those little lungs are all good your little one will be just fine. Congrats.

Our son was nine weeks early and had some lung problems partially due to the lack of amniotic fluid for four weeks prior to his birth. He is 1.5 years old now and you wouldn't be able to tell it ever happened. Resilient little ***** they are http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/wink1.gif http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/biggrin1.gif

That is early... http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/ohmy1.gif

It's amazing how small he is. I could easily grab him in one hand. Our girl wasn't big either (2.7kg) but she was gigantic compared to him.

Early enough that's for sure. He was in the intensive station at a major hospital for a few weeks and there were babies there at the time born up to 14 weeks early. I have to say that I am very glad he made it to 9 weeks after seeing those babies (some of them only 600-700 grams).

I wish you all the best. If it's anything like it is here, you probably can't take him home until he's at least 36 weeks? That can be difficult (even if it's for the best).

The best thing is that the weeks are already 33. He is now free from extra oxygen and no more need for extra vascular errrmmm... Supplements..?

From now on it's only milk. Aye! Still going to take few weeks before he gets home though..
