Finally got to build something in shop, made some errors but turned out pretty decent, blue pine . A few scratches on the top that I didn't see until I started putting finish on top, err.

I ended up using a combo of built-in and freestanding storage to make better use of wall space. For extra shoe and gear storage, I added this dresser: https://www.sicotas.com/collections/...et-for-bedroom. It’s been solid so far and the drawers hold way more than I expected. Fit nicely under a coat rack I installed.
