It's actually the "P" in "WASP" that is most likely to make you non-Latino, not the "AS". There are plenty of Germanic Latinos in South America.

anglosaxons in Latin America are few, I think most would be expats from the USA in Mexico. German descended people are much more common, mainly in Brasil, Argentina and Chile.

Well to be fair, it's not like the Latinos don't differentiate themselves (ie- Chicanos, Borinqueños, etc.)

In many central American countries protestants are now over 10% of the population, in one (Guatemala perhaps) they are over 30%, they were converted from catholicism into protestantism by missionaries from the USA, they tend to be speaking in tongues pentecostals.

Now, I'm an atheist but one who's family comes from a mostly Protestant background (albeit not very observant) but even I think the who pentecostal speaking in tongues thing is bizarre beyond words. Those people need their heads examined.

I just followed your advice and looked at a map. Turns out my eyes see the same Northwest Europe as Wikipedia! Problem solved!
