LOL - I know, I know. The very design of a forum thread is linear, but the content generally isn't.
Does anyone use the threaded view? I tried it for a while, but it oddly confusing.

I have no idea, but the techy term for each conversation is a thread, and they work by directly adding a reply to a reply. You can't have a non-linear thread by definition.

Yeah yeah, got that - even us finance folk get threads - I just wonder if anyone looks at the threaded view to follow specific conversations, or if everyone looks at the forums in the standard view, which looks linear but isn't.

The OLD forums (MO), I hit reply on a random post, not specific to his and he wrote back to me asking why I replied to his post. That's the only one I ever knew who used threaded mode.

Sorry, that was a bit patronising.

I don't know anyone who browses forums in the threaded view off the top of my head.

Just got back from the store with our new S3's. Yeah, it's big, but I don't see how it could ever be an issue of being "too big". It fights in my pants pocket with no issue, tried some other pants/short pockets, no problems. Fits in the fiance's grocery bag (large freakin purse) just fine.

We're very happy with it, thx again guys http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/cool1.gif
Awesome, enjoy! It has been the best phone I have owned by a long shot.

If you ever have any interest in rooting, custom ROMs or kernels let me know and I can help you out.

Didnt realize it was so big! on the left is the Note, and i have seen that. Looked and felt to big to use as a phone.
Anyone use that beast on a daily basis?
Yea, I've had the Note for about 3 months. Love it, best phone Ive ever had

Karpattaisp 08-10-2012 03:06 PM

I would definitely recommend the s3, apart from the amazing hardware.. it is the newest
From samsung.. and sammy is known for dropping support for older phones like
Yesterdays trash. Updates arrive slow if it arrives at all..im guessing atleast youre good
For atleast a year or two.

I have a galaxy wonder (supposed to be one step lower than the s2) and its just a fes
months old from initial release and we're still stuck on gingerbread. Apart from that though
everythings a-ok.

I have a few friends who use the s2 and s3, and the s3's s reen just pops out a lot more.
i personally prefer the s2 though as its screen size is just about perfect for my preference.

Sometimes im thinking about swapping out my phone for a note though :p

Sounds like it's a phone of note, the note.

That was because when you hit reply to a post, that post owner got a message saying "Someone has replied to your post". On WWWThreads, the reply button was specific to the post you were hitting reply to.
