Got a decent pair of saucony running trainers (I've always bought this brand, as they are good for my running style).
Saucony has been my brand for 16 years! Currently have a very tired pair of Paramounts. Great pronation support.

Funny, while in the states for Xmas, I bought 3 pairs of Saucony's as they had a deal on, very light trainer/racer and have to admit, stunning shoe. Never wore them before, I've used Asics in the past with a superb Nike for last 3 years which they no longer make so needed a change as most Asics seem to be getting heavy now... so... Got 3 pairs for what worked out £93 in states... YET the equivalent in the UK is around £55 per pair... mental!

Another vote for Saucony, I've just ordered another pair of Pro Echelon 2's, awesome training shoes [thumbup]

And 45secs knocked off my last 10km time

If I can knock 45secs off in one hit I reckon there might be more where that came from [good]

Run - 10km, 55:26min

My best 10k (I've done 3) was 48 minutes (run last year). I'm 37 and have never really run barring the past year, just played footy or skated. 55m is what, 11kph tops? Get your finger out!

I thought about getting back into running again as swimming didnt do the trick with losing weight. But I'm worried that my knees wont take the 110kg (at 1.89cm height) kindly.

Am I too fat for running? Or shouldnt that be a problem? The ideal weight for me would be around 95kg.
