I do feel a little dismayed when I can't see their faces (see:Meatspin) but when you have a jolly good scene with everyone enjoying themselves, it does make me feel a little less guilty (take lemonparty for instance, they're all having a whale of a time there). :encouragement:

Belly Boner was undoubtely an enjoyable show for the masses. You can't move with that much vigour and excitement and not be enjoying it. The scene at omghai2u however is a bit suspect (the vomit makes me think it wasn't fun for her).

fact of the matter is that there is a LOT of sex trafficking going on... Here are some stats from the A21 campaign which is dedicated to fighting this issue

  • Human trafficking is the second largest global organized crime today, generating approximately 31.6 billion USD each year. Specifically, trafficking for sexual exploitation generates 27.8 billion USD per year2.
  • There are 1.39 million victims of commercial sexual servitude worldwide3.
  • Over 25 percent of sex trafficked victims are trafficked from Southern and Eastern Europe4.
  • 90% of victims trafficked into the European Union member states will end up in the sex industry5.
  • Tragically, only 1-2 percent of victims are rescued, and only 1 in 100,000 Europeans involved in trafficking are convicted6.
Now to be honest. If you've watched a lot of porn, the likeliness of having watched someone who was forced to do it is very high. This is not to say that everyone in the industry has gone through the faith of the poor girls and even boys who were kidnapped.

This whole issue won't stop because people will stay addicted to porn and sex sells. People like Rainwind also try to belittle the issue which is exactly why this won't ever get the attention it deserves. Technically the girls are forced and thus raped on camera for someone else's pleasure. Just think about that!

I'm not saying I'm holy because I too have had my dose when I was younger, but I appreciate how Golemn is starting to understand the underlying issue of the porn industry.

Now to the second argument. Clearly there are some girls who enjoy porn. As Rainwind explained they like the attention and probably also the money. Having said that, there's obviously something wrong with these girls. An addiction is an addiction and being addicted to sex can have dire consequences. Will a girl like that ever be able to truly love someone for example and be happy? I can't possibly believe that someone who's been raised well and educated well will turn to this proffesion. But the reality is that this is also not always true. We're living in a perverted world and we're being exposed to sex all around us. Obviously we enjoy it, but this doesn't mean it's always good for us. It will change our view on the matter and we become more and more tolerant.
Again, someone explain to me why anything is wrong in the first place? We seem to draw lines that are convenient to us and sometimes others, but is this the right approach? Does it mean that when 80% of the people say something isn't wrong, that this is true without any doubt?

There's a niche section of the industry that would pay good money to film you taking that stick from out of your arse.

I remember reading a quote from G.W.Bush (can't remember which one) that said he wanted to clean up the internet and close down every American porn website, His advisors then said something along the lines .. "You can't do that as the revenue generated in taxes exceeds $3000 Million dollars" ... (or some other crazy amount).

Guess everyone needs Porn and not necessarily to fap to. :redface-new:

Wow, now let that last train of thought run over the rest of your post and/or mind.

To deny our sexuality is to deny our humanity. The two are inextricably linked. Just because we enjoy it, doesn't make it bad for us. Undoubtedly it can have negative consequences but the solution is not to deny ourselves. Almost no one is actually strong-willed enough to be able to do that successfully, no matter how much they wish or pray otherwise. Valid solutions to the related problems will only come from recognizing and embracing our true nature (that does not mean that everyone should be free to do as they please).

If you don't like porn, good for you. If you do, good for you. To assume you know the mindset of the people involved, or what is best for them, is ignorant at best.

It is not hard to take a guess at someone's mindset when they are 13-20 years old, deceived into leaving their country for a "better life," loaded up on drugs, and then forced to have sex with older men in the back of some business that acts as a front. Let's say that business is a strip club with willing women in it, does that make whats happening any less brutal?

Again, i'm in no way saying this is 100% of the industry, not even close. BUT, there are very strong ties between sex trafficking, prostitution, strip clubs, and porn, and to not admit that is basically just showing you haven't researched it. You can find countless testimonies of girls who were forced into sex trafficking, and part of their forced work was porn.

I'm not against sex at all.. I like it as much as the next guy, but I am saying that our minds as a society have become much more perverted than lets say a 100 years back. A lot of marriages have suffered because the guy was porn addicted. I'm not saying it didn't happen in the past, but I do think that nowadays we've become more immune to immoral behavior. This is because we don't really consider it as such.. This is because we're bombarded left and right with sexual stuff that just makes us blind to what is right and wrong.

Uh wrong.

Side note:
Sexual repression causes priests to molest little boys.

You as sure of yourself as you are ignorant.

Current American views on sex and downright prudish compared to several other periods of world history, medieval times, and victorian period included.

Nearly every generation has said that their generation is more "perverted" than the one before, but it's just as much BS now as it has been 1000 years ago.

For proof, note that bonobos engage in cunnilingus and fellatio, as well as group sex and even what is essentially S&M.

Really, we're just oversexed monkeys, and we should finally grow a set and learn to live with that.

The American Sex Industry is one of the largest in the world.
Humans have always been oversexed I agree, but the thing is that today everyone is exposed to it and those trying to stay away from it have a very hard time. Posters, tv, movies, internet adds etc.. In the past this wasn't an option. I got exposed as a kid because my friends were showing some ridiculous porn movies which then made me curious to watch more..

Have you seen anything from Ancient Greece or Rome? I seem to remember archaeologists finding erotic depictions (pornography) on various walls throughout Pompeii.

BANNNNN !!!

Anyways no need for discussing if any of this is wrong or right, sure the majority of women in this business are doing it because they want to.
And btw, there are so many websites out there that feature clips of what happens when the cams are "off" and how the women are treated, on drugs, drunk, etc
I myself just canīt see much glamour in all of this, but hey i donīt like brussel sprouts either so my opinion is nothing but my own.

/goīs back to reading books and fapping off to imaginary personaīs

I tried to make it clear that I am not directly condoning any of the negative consequences of our sexuality. My first point was that trying to solve the problem by denying our own sexuality will do nothing at best, and at worst just drives the problem underground and makes it worse.

My last point assumes only willing participants, but perhaps I was not clear enough on that. I don't think we agree here however, since if someone is doing something of their own free will (not under duress and provided they aren't hurting anyone else) than I can't really say what it is and what it is not.
