Default 75 yards
I CANNOT hit a green or get it close from this distance, 75 and in. I hit it fat or skull it, I'll hit it sideways or 7 inches off the ground like a scud missle. My 52 degree wedge is broken and all I have is a 60 degree and it is killing me. Any suggestions on wedges or advice from this distance is apperciated and wanted. If you have wedges laying around that I might could try out, I am willing. I am losing lots of strokes from this distance.

Sounds like your letting the club head get in front of your hands leading to the inconsistancy.
Try to practice little chip shots or low punch like shots keeping your hands in front of the club head and slowly work it into bigger shots.
another drill is if you have alignment sticks hold them with your grip but sticking out about 2 feet so if your clubhead gets infront of your hands the stick will hit your hip try hitting little chips with this to get the proper feeling.

These drills should help you out.

I play games on the range with that distance. I'd normally hit a 3/4 58*, but I've used my PW, chocked down (or up depending on your thinking) to almost the metal and hit a knockdown PW. Left arm parallel to ground in backswing, ball back in stance. I'll play this shot if I don't feel comfortable with my 58* or 54* on that day. Hope that makes sense and/or helps.

If you are struggling that much from 75 and in, then try to lay up farther away.

For these shots, wedge bounce is your friend. Take the club back and then turn your body back to the ball.

Well if you have a 58* or a 60, I like to open my stance a little bit, and hit a 3/4 shot. If you don't have a bunker or water to go over and can take the ball in lower with spin, then a nice pitch with a SW would be my #1 go to on this shot.

I think from that distance ur better off hitting a pw or even 9i than ur 60... but that's just me, I only use my 60 for chips/sand around the green. Or bite the bullet and get a 56, that's my 100 and in club. hope this helps.

First try not to leave yourself that distance. Second try the niblick chipper just might help with a little practice.

Choke down two inches on your sand wdge and take a normal swing. Should come in lower and shorter than a full sand wedge with a little spin.
Choke down 3 inches on your pitching wdge and hit a 3/4 shot. Of course this is predicated on a distance of more than 100yds with the PW.

I have looked at these; can you spin the ball and stop it with this club?

At 75 I normally hit a little AW but the closer I get is where I start falling apart. It the shots that miss to the left or right of the green and I am just off. Or the shots where I some up just short and need to get it up close.

My 64° with a full shot can go 70-80, so I use it for that (got it 2 weeks ago and immediately became my favourite club). For anything inside that, I've practiced what I call my hip to hip pitch shot with different clubs for different distances (assuming you can roll it up and don't have a forced carry). I'll use anything from a 5 iron down for those close but not close enough shots. Same shot I use with a wedge near the green, just with other clubs. 30 yards in I'll hit a high shot with one of my wedges.

From 75 yards, I have two shots.. Either a low punch to stop 58* or one that is a bit opened to flop into the green. For me it all depends on what kind of room I have on the green.

Also, a pretty simple solution would be to get a new, unbroken 52, no?

75 yards is a good 52* for me.

I've been working on hitting it a bit shorter too ~60 yards has been working ok with a 3/4 swing

The 2010 version of the niblick has the old grooves, which spin very well. It is also fun to practice all sorts of of shots.

Dude I couldn't hit the green from 75 yards out if my life depended on it so when I got the ATV for testing it was a great experience to test it 75 in, sure enough I've been able to hit the green consistently with it today I hit it onto the green leaving it this close to the pin from about 73 yards. . .

Spoiler

I would check out the ATV and maybe it will complement your game!

This is exactly what I do and it has changed my scores a ton!

I have a 58* bent to 57* so the gaps between wedges are the same. 75 is my ideal. I grooved my swing hitting bunches of balls from that distance.
