If you ate off the green, chipping onto the green and hit your opponents ball, it's a penalty?!
Noooo. you guys are confusing each other rofl.

If both balls are on the green its a penalty. If only one is on the green its not. Simple as that.

I'm taking about where they rest before the shot that collides is taken.

I still love you Biggsy even though you contributed to two of my MC losses.

Bastage.

All love here too. Still talk with my wife about our dinner together at the Latin restaurant and all the fun we had on and off the course. That match with CB and you and P4B was an epic battle. Still top of my list in a competition. Anyone could have won that the way you caught fire down the stretch.

Was definitely the best golf weekend of my life and barring the obvious (marriage, etc.) ranks right up there overall. Mojito's!

The ball that was already at rest (Ball A) gets replaced to as close to its original position prior to being hit by the ball in motion (Ball B). Ball B, however, is played as it lies.

Needless to say, if you're playing in a competitive situation and your ball lies anywhere near the pin on the green, it behooves you to mark your ball before your competitors make their putts.

I believe you move your ball back to it's original position or as close as you can get it and his stays where it lies and I don't think there is any penalty.
Nice job Buck, I believe that is correct.
