Default BACK SURGERY and Golf
Hello!
After 10 years gone from this great game - from a bad back - I may be able to return, thanks to recent surgery. The surgey on my low back included a fusion at L5S1 and an Artificial Disc Replacement at L4-5. The doc has cleared me to putt - but I haven't started swinging a club fully yet (just some tiny little swing drills).

I figure that I will need to modify my swing permanently, i.e. not take a full back swing and also slow down my swing and even reduce the shaft flex (I used to use A flex and had an 85mph swing).

Anyone have similar circumstances/surgeries or care to provide any advice or comment - I would sincerely appreciate it! I would add that I am slowly getting my life back to normal (my QOL had deteriorated considerably) and am, so far, extremely thankful for the surgery.
