Okay, I had a moment on the course today that made me wish I had the mental strength of a pro. I was standing over the ball, and just didn't feel right. I felt too close to the ball and lined up to the right; but I just thought eh, I'm sure it'll still work out. And of course I hit it way fat and right. My thought was, "Why the hell didn't I step away and restart my routine?"
Question: what 1 (and only 1) skill the pros have do you wish you could have? Score low enough to earn millions doesn't count. Things I can think of (list not comprehensive) would be: drive 300+, make more long putts, spin irons so the ball comes backwards, keep focused and in the zone (like my example above), or consistently hit it well out of troubled lies. |
