Seth MacFarlane, who created the hit animated comedy series Family Guy, will co-write and make his directorial debut on the comedy Family Union for Spyglass Entertainment. The film, being co-written by Mike Barker and Matthew Weitzman, centers on a commonplace nightmare scenario - going home every five years to face one's dysfunctional family. The project is being fast-tracked for an early summer start. MacFarlane is also working on a new comedy animation pilot for Fox, American Dad, for which he will voice many of the parts. Source: Vareity I would rather see Seth MacFarlane working on a Family Guy movie and the series being brought back, but at least this is better then nothing by the mastermind that is of Seth MacFarlane. yea there right, the movie is scheduled to release in a year to a year and a half. at the earliest they said was a half year but they dont think so. its not gonna be in theaters they said it was a strait to dvd project (unless some sorta deal goes through) and as 4 more episodes they said if they make enough off of the movie and the dvd box sets. which they already made 2.1 mill off of the first box set dvd, and 4 the 2nd box set they made 4.6 mill. and god knows how much theyll make off of the movie so odds r well be seein family guy on air again in a year or so. to bad 4 the wait tho, but its worth it!
