I figured i would drop ya a sympathy reply. i will admit, i have never seen a James Bond film, except for like 5 minutes of Golden Eye, but the trailer does look quite good if i say so myself. Looks like i may have to lose my proverbial bonds virginity with this one.

Anyways, i think it will be a dud. He doesnt look anything close to a James Bond. Peirce played him the best i think. Making 007 into the spy he is now. However, like the movie stats (i think) this movie is before the others. Much like a Batman begins movie.

Connery was the best bond. Period.

And Craig looks to be a great Bond too. So what if he doesn't exactly fit the image most of us have of 007... really, he looks way more like a Bond than Roger Moore ever did, and some of his movies were entertaining enough.

Why does every film that traces roots have to be deemed a prequel like "Batman Begins" all of a sudden? Batman Begins is a reimagining for a new franchise, Casino Royale really isn't, since it's been there since the beginning.

Yeah, well its the first thing to pop into my head. I know Casino Royal has always been in the 007 series. But why do it if its old?

Also, one other thing i didnt mention is, Young Sean Connery kinda has a similar look to Daniel here. Maybe its just me.

Wooooooweeeeee!!! That looks awesome! He does somewhat suit the James Bond role personality wise, but physicallly speaking, he doesn't have that Bond look. IMO Pierce Brosnan was the best after Connery. But even thought this movie looks amazing I doubt it'll beat the old one's like Goldeneye or Octopussy.

I think Daniel Craig looks like a great Bond. And the movie teaser looked great. Now that I know that the director of GoldenEye is back, I'm even more pumped to see this.

now im split on htis. yea the film looks and sounds great and i'll prob enjoyit being a james bond virgin right now but i cant see daniel craig as the lead! this is based on image only and she doesnt tick any of the criteria of being a tall dark stranger that he's described as in the novels. thats why im hoping he proves me worng

I've been waiting to see Bond on the big screen for so long likewise with Ethan Hunt. We got MI3 and now I'm ready for more Bond. I can't wait to see how Craig handles being Bond.

I'm a huge fan of the James Bond movies. I'm hopin' this one turns out as great as the others.

(BTW, if this is supposed to be the prequel to all the films, then why is Judi Dench still playin' "M"? )

She is 'M'. I dunno how else to say it but i guess they just didnt have anyone to replace her. Also when i saw her, i wanted to see 'Q'. John Cleese was a great actor in that role.

At first I wasn't too sure about Craig as Bond, but he looks pretty good in the role in that trailer. Nov 17th can't come too soon!
