Well, I guess you were the target demographic for that line, because I thought it was one of the worst lines in the entire trilogy.

I liked the movie, but as a whole, I thought it was pretty weak. It was fairly low on character development or emotion, the characters were all off from what they had been in the previous movies (where's broody Wolverine?), and in place of story, there's mostly action sequences.

Beast looked dumb (IMO), Angel was pointless, Kitty Pryde was a good character with too little to do, and Leech was nothing more than a plot device to get from the end of the last movie to the big climactic ending of this one. They missed the chance to explore the dynamic between Iceman and Pyro, Rogue's character and storyline could have been entirely omitted (which was unfortunate, because her storyline was one of the most important ones), and the storyline between Wolverine and Jean Grey was forced.

I did like it. But it gave me every reason not to.
well i've seen it a second time and managed to enjoy the pop corn effect the film has. But your right, the story is totally ignore. I didn't mind beast i thought the character was pulled off well. I never liked the idea of leech so a story where he is a big part not a biggy for me.

Why was angel there, the only good thing they could of done is move quickly onto archangel, which is where his best stuff is.

A forth film could work, if they do onslaught series, as ian mckellen wouldn't need to play a big part and neither would hugh jackman (doing side story movie anyway, and mckellen might narrate the magneto side movie)

You could place the arcangel story and added mayhem, if mystique wasn't in it, you could say she is still pissed at magneto, but trying to cure him. something better than.

Wheres nightcrawler.
dunno.
oh... sounds good.

morons....

for those of you who don't know, the onslaught story is fom wiki.

Magneto ripped the adamantium from Wolverine's skeleton after Wolverine attempted to kill him. In response, Professor X shut down Magneto's mind psionically. When this happened, a portion of Magneto's psyche was transferred into Xavier's repressed subconscious. This small element of Magneto's psyche took root in the dark corner of Xavier's mind, where his repressed anger at humanity's intolerance toward mutants was buried. This was the seed that would grow into the being known as Onslaught.

in the comics it takes everyone to stop him, but i'm sure brett ratner would have some rat defeat him or something equally stupid....

you could work it with storm (thus ensuring halle berry's ego is there for the film ) leads the kids, kitty, angel, collous, rouge and random others, against onslaught, you could have angel lose his wings here and become arcangel, thus creating a sub bad guy and seen as though onslaught is a being composed of evil, and not of xavier of such, so nice big battle. and i'm sure we could have wolverine come in then end or something.

for full onlsaught goodness.

look at the list of victims

As for the wolverine spinoff, weapon X, his past. With the ending being the fight with his brother.

Magneto, i dunno, his orgins i suppose
