well it sounds great because I was a big fan of the first movie. As usual I hope its more plot driven than a special effects movie like some of the later ones.

Jaws finally returns to the big screen now that something i've been waiting for! I remember the first time I watched a jaws movie I could even go swimming at a lake when I went cmaping cause I was dead scared that the shark was going to get me keep in mind I was like seven at the time. Anyways I hope this is a good follow up in the last jaws you'll remember sheriff brody's son died and his other son killed the shark along with his mother. Sheriff brody had died of a heart attack from going crazy worrying about shark's attacking amity beach. anyways hopefully this is actually going to happen.

Well all e can do is wait for teh teaser, imo no teaser = no film I guess. ANyway back on topic, anyone got ne ideas about a name?

Word has it a secret project from universal is underway, a new Jaws film scheduled to be released in late 2005. Word has it is returning to amity beach and will focus more around the feel of the first and second film, supposedly residents have commented that their are quite a few surfer people in town for shooting.


This sounds great to me, I love jaws and making another which resembles the 1st and 2nd is great, supposdly theirs gonna be a tiny teaser trailer release this or next month but as of yet no confirmations.

Anyone got any ideas for the title,

I haven't heard of this. Let's say it's legit and looking for a 2005 release, it would be in production or pre-production right now. People would know about it. Greg at Upcoming Movies (movies.yahoo.com/upcoming) knows about films being planned for as far away as 2007. Nothing about a new Jaws has been mentioned. I smell BS.
