Return of The King was considered the best of the three so i guess you could say its better than all, but i think Two Towers was the best.
I also could not help notice Lost in Translation won a Golden Globe, well Bill Murray is an amazing actor and i have heard this film is really good i will look forward to seeing it. |

Looks like LOTR: ROTK is still at number 1, and will remain number 1 for a few more weeks with the quality of movies coming out this month being on the downside. |

I dont know, i say its a prety shallow estimate too. But hey, its hollywood. But ultimately, to me Big Fish looks stupid, but here is what im guessing...
The Lord of the rings super-Geeks were going back to watch Lord of the Rings again in their usual flocks. They saw Big Fish and figured "hey fellaz, thats a fantasy movie too!!! Lets go see that for a change then we'll catch the 2 am showing of lord of the rings!!! LETS GO!" But thats my guess. But from the previews of Big fish, id rather watch Kill Bill then that dumb movie. ![]() |

"Big Fish" was a pretty good movie, I saw it on it's opening. I can't compare to LotR's 'cause I haven't seen it, but "Big Fish" was good- even though I said I'd never spend money to see another movie in the theater I'm not die-hard about after wasting my money on Matrix: Reloaded. I'm okay with spending the $7 on "Big Fish."
Another thing is even if the movie may not look appealing some, it's directed by Tim Burton and he's got a big following. And everyone I know that likes LotR's loves Tim Burton and his movies. And of all the people I've spoken to who have seen "Big Fish" enjoyed the movie a lot- most with comments of "can't wait for the DVD." Tim Burton's fans may not run around displaying sick obsessive amounts of love boldy in the public eye. But they support his work oh-so greatly as the guys who go in droves with hobit ears to LotR showings... |
