I went to a pizza place with friends today, and it said Halal on the shop sign, so I thought ok thats nice, I can eat meat. So I went in and ordered the pepperoni pizza. Usually, in halal pizza places the pepperoni is made of beef so I thought all pepperoni was beef. The pizza came and I tasted one piece of pepperoni and it tasted really weird and different, so I quickly checked on my phone and google "pepperoni", where it said pepperoni is usually made from pork. I didnt eat the rest of the pizza and just left. So I don't really know if it was actually pork or not. The shop didnt mention anything about pork, it just said pepperoni, so Im not sure what that means. What does this mean? I am currently living in London if that makes a difference.
