Default Islamic places to see in Manchester?

A group of brothers and me are planning to have a tour of Manchester during the day before getting to Dewsbury for the Scholar's Scribe - Intensive Islamic Shari'ah Course..
Any places you brothers would recommend to visit there?
Mosques?
Halal food place?
Islamic book shops?
'Itr shops?

I've found Masjid-e-Noor (http://www.masjidenoor.com/) at Stamford Street (near Trafford), and it seems a place well served as far as local halal shops are concerned (http://www.halalmc.net/certified_out...tml#manchester)..

We would get to there from the Manchester Oxford Street Rail station; the mosque is less than 2 miles from there..
Do you confirm that Trafford is the most interesting area to see in Manchester, or should we rather go somewhere else?

Please consider that we'll go around by bus/taxi, as we don't have a car..
