Do any of you bros or sis's have experience or heard of HHRD.org? It is the Helping Hand for Relief And Development organization and I did not know about it until recently when they had left some flyers for it in the masjid to do qurbani through them.

They are saying that the qurbani meat would be distributed among deserving recipients from the country of your choice.

A brother I know would like to do qurbani through them as it is not always easy to do qurbani the "right" way here in the west, so many prefer to pay for it to be done overseas as long as they can be assured the meat would surely be distributed, , among deserving brothers, sisters, and children.

Does any know if they are legitimate? , they certainly seem legitimate.

Secondly, is it permissible to do qurbani in such a way by making a payment for it to be done overseas for you?
